STRAYING STOCK.

\ [To The Editor.} Sir,— A resolution was passed at the last meeting of the Maurioeville County Council that the roadmen on the different roads inform the Council of [Straying stock, so that tks offenders may be prosecuted. Now I hsve passed along that rqad known as Jackson's Road several times since, that resolution was passed, and on each occasion notified upwards of & dozen head of stock, including oows, calves and horses, either- lying in the roadway, standing ok a bridge, or in some way most dangerous to the'travelling public. Already' soma serious accidents have beep narrowly -averted. I think the ratepayers as well as the travelling \ public will agree with me that this dangerous practice should be put down without delay.— I am, etc., CYCLIST. ICanriceville West, April 24th, 1911.
