[To The Editor.J Sir—The enclosed letter on the above subject appeared over the signature of J. J. Kelliher, ni the Manawatu Standard of Friday last, and as it deals directly with Masterton, I feel that your readers should have the full benefit of Mr Kelliher's views of the effects of No-license in our town. I will refrain from criticising Mr Kelliher's letter, but pass it on in globo so that your readers may have at first hand a fairly good sample of the "facts" that are being circulated tor the guidance of voters at a distance bv Mr Kelliher, who so ably champions the cause of the liquor party. During the campaign of 1908, sir, when Masterton caried No-license, the liquor party engaged a lawyer's clerk as their organiser for the fight. is history repeating itself ? Will you please publish at my expense the enclosed copy of Mr Kelliher's letter, and oblige—Yours, etc., JABEZ BRIDGES, Sec. M.-W. N.-L. Council.
