THE SULTAN'S ARMY.

IN A PITIABLE CONDITION. Received This Morning, 12.25 o'clocK TANGIER, JTpril 21. The Sultan's army in tlfe Sherarda district is unable to reach Fez. It is in a pitiable condition. Owing to floods, it is difficult to secure either food or fodder. Many horses are dying. Letters from Fez, dated April 12th, report that constant fighting has taken place. Anxiety is felt for the fate of the European colony.
