PALMERSTON STOCK SALE
(By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: We offered to-day a fine yarding of sheep,' consisting* principally of inferior ewes, which were bought for boiling down purposes at prices ranging from 3s 6d to 4s sd. Other lines of mixed aged ewes in lamb made from 5s 6d to 8s 6d; forward lambs, 6s 4d to 6s Gd; 6-tooth to f.m. ewes in lamb, Eb 9d; forward cows, £4 to £4 5s ; fat cows, £5 to £5 10s; store cows, £2 to £3 Is; cows and calves, £4 5s 6d; weanei steers, 22s Gd; mixed weaners, 17s.
