BIBLE IN SCHOOLS.
TIMARU, Last Night. Arrangements have been completed for Ministers to give Bible lessor.s for half an hour once a week in each cf the three town schools from 9 ;o 0..",-.; o'clock. An explanation given b\ +Jio visiting teacher will be that which is necessary to make the passage clear to the children. No sectarian teaching of any kind is to be given. For the present year the lessons are to be taken from the Gospel of Mark. Parents are to notify the headmaster if they object, and secular lessons will be provided instead. -The Rev. Chappie, Unitarian, is issuing a report of his Sunday address contrary to Bible lessons. '
