SAD DROWNING FATALITY,

(Received Last Night, 11.30 o'clock.) LONDON, April 18. In the presence of 20,000 people at Brooklands, Wilkinson's motor car, travelling at a speed of 90 miles an hour, owing to the jamming of the clutch, was unable to stop at the winning post, and jumped 40 feet, cutting through some iron palings. Wilkinson ds in a critical condition. Three Newcastle hoys at Witley Bay Were overtaken by the tide, and were drowned in the presence of a great crowd. A van dashed into a party of holi-day-makers in High Street, Harlesdon, killing two and injuring several.
