SALE OF YEARLINGS.
FANCY PRICES PAID. (Received Last Night, 9.36 o'clock.) SYDNEY, April 18. ,At the yearling sales, a colt by Wallace—Bonnie Rosette brought 1030 guineas. A colt by San Francisco —Miss Gladys realised SoOgns, and a colt by Mountain King—Alice Mostyn sold for 550gns. Messrs Whitworth Bros., of Wellington, New Zealand, bought a filly by Ladnelad — Nyleptha for 120gns. Mr Dunnett, another Now Zealander, bought a colt by San Francisco —Dismay for 120gns, and a colt by Scottish King—Moorooroo for 210gns. The following sales were effected on behalf of Mr Currie. of Wanganui : Filly by Soult—Fairy Tale, SOOgns; colt by Soult—Grandeur, 400gns; colt by Soult—Almanah, SOOgns; filly by* Soult—St. Evelyn, 275gns. Other sales wero as follows: —On account of Mr T. H. Lowry, of Hawke's Bay: Colt by Royal Fusilier —Lisadurn,'24ogns; Great Mogul war, passed in at 200gns. On account of Mr Robertson, of Hawke's Bay : Lady Donachie, 140gns. On account of Mr D. Reid. of Oama.ru : Filly by Charlemagne ll.—Lady of Lyons, 300gns; filly by St. Ambrose—Neva, 900gns; filly bv St. Ambrose—Gipsy Countess, 200gus; filly by St. Ambrose—Happy Valley, 260gns.
