YOUTHS BEATEN TO DEATH

ROME, April 17. - A youth was arrested for eloping wi'th a farmer's daughter near Naples, and was released on bail. The farmer and his sons seized the youth and beat him into insensibility. He was then thrown into a courtyard, where dogs horribly mutilated and partially devoured him. The youth subsequently died. His assailants fled.
