. PALMERSTON NORTH.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. A big No-license Convention was held hereto-day, delegates being present from all parts of the North Island. A resolution was carried, recommending the N.Z. Alliance at its annual meeting to advise voters to withhold their votes from candidates for Parliament who rapport the iniquitous and ritck'rab'e three-fifths majority. A big public meeting was held in. the evening, given by Messrs J. Mc-d'-ririr (Masterton), Rev. Fee (Wellington), and Mrs Cbwie (Invercargili).
