MANY EVILS.
EFFORT TO COMBAT THEM. (Received April 17, 9 a.m.) LONDON, April 16. Speaking at Oblwyn Bay (Carnarvonshire), Mr William Jones (Liberal M.P. for Arfon, Carnarvonshire), said the coming invalidity and unemployment insuranct scheme of the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr LloydGeorge) would be a far-reaching effort to combat many evils of industrial life.
After the Lords' veto and Home Rule questions had been dealt with, said Mr Jones, the Welsh disestablishment question would come before the House of Commons. This would be Wales' real opportunity, and there must be no quarrel between Wales and Ireland. He hadvMr John Kedmoiid's promise of the Irish Party's support in regard to disestablishment.
