THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. I During the past week Messrs Thompson and I'ayn:' have done record, business as a result of the superior class-of picture that is being shown. The current programme has found great favour among the firm's patrons, and the result lias been packed houses nightly. "The Law of the West" and "The Governor's Daughter" are two capital pictures. Thet former deals with life in the Wild West, and is a thrilling and pathetic subject, 'while the latter is a story of a convict's sacrifice, and introduces a realistic train smash. A series of excellent comics are presented, while the scenic, industrial, and instructive are such as to suit all tastes. The programme will be irepeated for the last time to-night.
