RIFLE SHOOTING.

I MAURICEVILLE RTF .;; CLUB. J The final competition for tne Handicap Aggregate Shield was fired on Saturday last. This season's aggregates also count for the Maunsell Handicap Cup, and Mr Rummer's gold medal for highest, aggregate off rifle, these trophies being allotted for two years' aggregates. Owing to the Masterton Mounted team not putting in an appearance a scratch match was fired between teams picked by President Kummer and the secretary (Mr R. A. Wilton), the match being at 500 and 600 yards. The scoring, j was considerably below the average owing to a tricky nor'-wester blowing reminding one of Trent-ham. Results : SECRETARY'S TEAM.

*Have yet to compete. All members who have missed competitions- can complete them on Saturday next, 15tli April. The following team will probably represent the Club in a match with the Masterton Rifles at Mauriceville on Easter Monday.— F. Rummer, R. F. Wilton, G. Rutherford, R. A. Wilton, C. Blewett, A.
