SOMETHING FRESH
Old Toper Tom was feeling glum, He'd topeil till lie was "tight"! The doctor said "Your system's rum, But I'll soon put you rjglit!' "Your nose is red, you're overfed And drunk! there's nothing surer • There's just one thing for you to take And that is "aqua-pura." Give this prescription to Chemist Keen, And take three times a day. Old Tom's wits wandered like his feet. He lost it on the way. To grocer Green lie went instead, And asked for "ashwah-poora." The grocer puzzled; then understood, And gave him Suratura! The days passed by. bright grew Tom's eye! His nose is nearly normal! With spritely gait, his feet walk straight, His speech lacks nought informal. The doctor's fee Tom paid with "lee. 'Well, Tom. how's 'aqua-pura "Oh, I)oc., itjs great, I'm pleased to state When boiled with Suratura!"
