HUGH WARD HONOURED.
W ELLINGTON, Last Night. This afternoon Air Hugh Ward, Miss Grace Palotta, and the members of Mr Y\ ard's Company, were tendered a public reception at the Town Hall by the citizens of Wellington, in recognition of their services in, helping the Children's Hospital fund last year. The Major presided over —e gathering, at which there were about 3000 person.;. Mr Ward was presented with a:i illuminated address. Mr TVard an-' Miss Palotta each received souvenir tablets ber.ring a sketch of t-Jie new Jiospital in silver, and each member of the company was presented with a photograph of the address to Mr Ward, which is surrounded by the photegvaphs of members of the company. The proceedings were very enthusiastic.
