j LONDON CHEKSK HKIHJRT. (Special to the Age.) CARTERTON, Last Night. The report of Messrs -Mills and Sparrow, of London, iu the cheese exhibited at the Wairarapa and East Coast P. and A. Society's Show, and l shipped Home through the National Dairy Association, is to hand, and reads as under. The awards at the Show are also given for comparison : V LONDON .1 UIX;INC. (Flavour 50, Body and texture 30, Colour 15, Finish 5; Total 100 pts.) Belvedere, No. 976 C, flavour 46, body and texture 28, colour 15, finish 5, total 94. Belvedere, No. 976 W., 47, 28, 15, 5, 95. Very ine quality, and in every way excellent cheese. Omiri, No. 98-1, C., 16, 28, 15, 91. Excellent quality, and turner out in good Style. Taratahi, No. 985 W., -16, 28, 15, 5, 94. Fine flavour, and iu every respect good cheese. Dalefield, No. 978 C., 46, 28, 14, 5, 93. A well made cheese showing vorv good quality indeed.' Mangarama, No. 983 W., 45, 28, 15, 5, 93. Excellent quality, and turned ont in good style. G revtowu, No. 980, C., 46, 28, 14, 4, 92. Ibis cheese shows excellent quality. Rexdale, 981 C., 44, 29, 14, 5, 92. This cheese was well made, but the flavour liad developed a little, and the colour was not quite true. Carrington, No. 977 C., 45, 2-S, 13, k 5, 91. The flavour was not quite up j j to the best standard, and the colour I was just a little faulty, being not quite true. This is judging it critically, but on the whole we should call it a well made cheese. Featdicrston, No. 979, 13, 28, 14, 5, 90. This cheese was well made, the 15, finish 5; total, 91. but the flavour Lad developed a little high, which is not liked here. Aliiaruhe, No. 982, 43, 27, 15, 5, 90. The flavour of this cheese was not quite up to the best standard, and an improvement can be made in the. texture, which is too open. JUDGING AT SHOW. 26th and 27th October, 1910.
