PRICE OF RUBBER. Rubber at the present time is probably of more commercial value than it has been for many years past; due 110 doubt to the fact that of recent years its uses have tremendously increased, and the demand has been considerably greater than the supply. So great has been the demand and the price so high that unscrupulous manufacturers liave made resort to substitution, by mixing crude rubber with white leather, etc. In appearance the substitute and the genuine article may seem the same, but the genuine Rubber is much heavier, and stands wear very much better. Care should be exercised when purchasing rubber goods to see that you get only the best quality, particularly so with HOT WATER BOTTLES. The hot water will very soon prove the quality of the bottle.
