TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. By Telegraph — Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— Strong westerly winds have prevailed and rain has fallen in many part of the country. The barometer has been very unsteady and remained low. In the south the weather improved to-day. Present indications arc 'for strong westerly winds, veering to southward; changeable and showery weather generally; a cool change probable to-mor-row, with a rising barometer everywhere.
