PRICE OF RUBBER.
Rubb'er at the present time is probably of more commercial value than it has been for many years past; due no doubt to the fact that of recent years its uses have tremendously increased, and the demand has' been considerably greater than the supply. So great has been the demand and the price so high that unscrupulous manufacturers have made resort to substitution, by mixing crude rubber with white leather, etc. In appearance the substitute and the genuine article may seem the same, but the genuine Rubber is much heavier, and stands wear very much better. Care should be exercised when purchasing rubber goods to see that you get only the best qualitv, particularly so with HOT WATER BOTTLES. The hot water will very soon prove the quality.of the bottle. We have a large supply of Hot Water Bottles arriving in a few days' time, direct from the best English Manufacturers. Each bottle is made of the very best rubber, and will last for years. Call and inspect them for yourself at GORDON'S Medical Hall. The prices are the same a susual, and most reasonable considering the quality.— J. V. GORDON, Chemist (by Exams.), Masterton.
