SRRIES OF BREACHES. • In the Magistrate's Court at Masterton yesterday, John McLachlan was charged with a breach' of section £ of the Motor Regulation Act, in having ridden a motor bicycle at a pace which was dangerous to the public. Constable Bird stated that there was a traction engine and some trucks in the road, which blocked the rider from the view of the people for about ha if a minute. The evidence was corroborated by Constable Dumphy. Accused was fined 20s and costs 7s.

Richard Barrett was charged with having ridden a motor bicycle round a corner at an excessive rate of speed. The magistrate warned the accused that he was liable to a fine not exceeding £5, but this being a first offence, ho would be fined 10s and costs 7s.

John Nicolson was charged with a breach of the by-laws in having driven a vehicle within the borough between the hours of sunset and sunrise without a light. A fine of 10s and costs 7s was imposed.
