TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
. NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. By Telegraph — Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:—
Cloudy and misty weather has prevailed, and rain in scattered places. Dense fogs were reported last night. The .barometer has fallen to 29.52 inches at the Bluff, but remains about the same in the north. Easterly and northerly winds have prevailed, and increased in the south.
Present indications are for moderate to strong northerly winds, veering to westerly northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and strong northerly and westerly, veering to southerly elsewhere, for a short time after twentyfour hours. Unsettled and cloudy weather, with rain following. The barometer is due to rise on Friday night.
