A COURAGEOUS ACTION.
TIMARU, Last Night. Mr Kaines, Chief Officer of the Corinna, gained great applause from the onlookers for the smart and courageous way he assisted a man, who, after dark, fell off a railway truck into the water between the ship and the wharf. Kaines went down a pile and pulled the man out of danger of being crushed.
