TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST.

WELLINGTON, Last Night. ■The Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast: — Rain fell in many parts of the North Island during Tuesday night. Misty and warm weather has prevailed today, with showers in parts. There has been a falling tendency in the barometer in the south to-day. Winds have been variable and light. Present indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather generally, more rain following. Easterly winds, veering to northerly, and increasing everywhere, especially in the south. The barometer is due to fall everywhere, and fast in the south.
