MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
TIMARU, Last Night. A good deal of interest fs h-.-ing manifested in the coming municipal election. The residents of the n?w-ly-added extension of the Borough are holding meetings to select suitable candidates to represent that quarter. The butellers using the abattoir put in a member at the last election. The builders will nominate a candidate this time. The demand for the extension of the im'derground drainage and the inauguration of trams are the mr.in planks cf the suburbanites.
