AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. The large audience- at the Foresters' Hall last evening showed their hearty appreciation of the programme presented. To-night a new scries of pictures will be presented. One film is a splendid representation of Indian life in all its luxurious magnificence, entitled, "The Song of the Wild Wood Lute." This is claimed to be the best drama of its kind that the American Biograph Company has produced, and* the famous "Bio Girl," Dolly Nicholson, takes the leading role. Some particularly fi.no prairie scenery is contained in the drama. Two capital comedies of the Bio Company, "Jack as a Hero," and "A Summer Tragedy," will also be presented. "The Road Agents" depicts vividly the terrors of the Wild West. A number of other capital industrial scenic, dramatic, and comic pictures will be shown.
