INFLUX OF NEGROES TO CANADA.
NO MEANS OF PREVENTION. (Received This Morning, 1.10 o'clock.''.. OTTAWA, April 4. A strong protest was made by tinOpposition in the Dominion Parlia ment against the immigration of no groes from the prairie provinces. The Hon. Mr Oliver, Miniter of the Interior, replied that an influx was not anticipated when the immigration regulations wero made. The Government was now unable to prevent negroes from entering.
