RAILWAYS FIRST.
Received This Morning, 12.15 o'clock
SYDNEY, April.2. The Minister of Lands is touring the country, inquiring into the claims for railway extension. He has stated that, ■ whereas past Gov- - ernmemts have sent the people to pioneer the country before the railways , were constructed, the, Labour Party intends sending the railways first.
