SWEPT BY A HURRICANE

Received this Morning. 12.45 o'clock. SYDNEY, April 2. The steamer Wynoric, from Calcutta to Chili, via Newcastle, has put into Svdney. She encountered tho same hurricane as tho Maheno. Four hundred' tons of coal were sweot from the decks.

The deck fittings were carried away and the hatches broken, and a large quantity of water found its way into tho cargo, which consists,of gunnies and rice.
