It is now stated that the extra session of Congress, at which it was j first believed that the reciprocity question alone would be considered, will deal with a multiplicity of other subjects. This is likely to jeopardise the I passage of the Reciprocity Bill. OTTAWA, April 2.

The Federal House is not expected : o prorogue until the end of May. It is reported that the Reciprocity Bill will be passed prior to the prorogation, despite the Opposition's campaign of obstruction. "
