THE CHEESE MARKET.
Some months ago the opinion was, mentioned in these columns that the position occupied by cheese in the markets of the world would be such as to make it one of the most profitable industries to the dairymen of the Dominion. Already' evidence is forthcoming in confirmation of this opinion. The climatic conditions are such that New Zealand is almost without a rival in certain seasons of the year. All that remains to ensure a splendid return to those engaged in cheese-production is for a proper study of the markets and the offering of the output at those seasons when supplies from other countries are at their lowest.
