TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. By Telegraph — Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast: — N The barometer has fallen low in the' southern .districts,' but continues high in the north. Norther'y winds prevailed, moderate to stro ig northward of New Plymouth und(.'istiepoint, but strong to gale : n parts e.-newhere. The •■weather has bi-ou showery on. the West Coast,,;and the southern-most districts, of the Sou oh Island. Present indications are for northerly and westerly winds, strong to heavy gale. Unsettled and cloudy weather will probably be.followed by heavy rain, especially on the* [West Coast. The barometer will probably fall everywhere, but a rise,may be expected in the south after about 36 hours, when a southerly change is probable.
