LAND SALE.

Three freehold properties in the estate of the late James Matthews were offered at auction.at Napier on in two lots, by Messrs C. B. Hoadley and Son, Limited, in ■conjunction with Mr W, J. Tabuteau. Both lots were disposed of under the' hammer as follows:—Te Ohu Estate, Dannevirke, containing 11,577 acres, to Mr F Logan ( on be- : half of a client), for £40,000; Wakarara property, containing 3224 acres, also Hampden farm, containing 1042 acres, to Mr F. Logan (on behalf of a client), for. £32,000. The total sales represent £72,000, in addition to which all stock and plant must be taken at valuation.
