TIMIARU, Last Night.. The Racing .Commission inspected the Timara racecourse to-day, and expressed satisfaction with the ap.pointments.-- particularly . 1 interested in. the stables and jockeys' quarters owned by. the Club (the only ones io owned the South Island), and made .enquiries about them. The Commission made a busy day travelling by ears ; from Christ■ahurctf'to Dunedin, and pn : th& way • inspecting racecourses between those centres.
