POLICE MAKE A CHARGE.
MANY INJOKED

LONDON, March 23
Serious rioting has taken place at the Cambrian Combine's Colliery, Ciydaehvale. A -mass meeting of miners condemned the Executive arranging a ballot upon the masters' terms, because the British Miners' Federation threatened to stop strike pay. The strikers, including women, inarched to the mine, took possession of a hill, and' rolled boulders into the colliery.
They tried to set tire to some ricks.
' The police made several charges, armed with batons, but were repulsed by big stones. Finally a flank attack dislodged the rioters, v.'io fied to Tonvpandy. Many were .Icjured, v-wo policemen seriously.
