ANTI-RECIPROCITY.
A CANADIAN DEMONSTRATION.
. MR SIFTON ATTACKED. (Received Last Night, 11.10 o'clock.) . OTTAWA, March 23. Mr Clifford Sifton, while driving to an anti-reciprocity demonstration at Montreal, was attacked by the McGill College students. His carriage was overturned and burned. Mr, Sifton was uninjured, but he was compelled to walk the remainder of the journey. The police made many arrests. . The disturbance is not regarded as political.
