MASTERTON STOCK SALE. 1 v v Messrs^D'aigetx:^ahcL6ovV Ltd:,'_-'re';*-port having held their usual weekly salenn-the iSolway yards (Masterton) ) yesterday, when they offered a yarding of sheep and cattle, well above advertised numbers. In our cattle*entry we offered in conjunction with the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Go., Ltd.. a line of 20k3,and 4-year steers, which 1 were sold for £6 10s. .Other quota-• tions are as follows: —F.f.ro ewes, 9s, 9s (3d, 10s .to lUs lid.'; f.m. ewes -(fair condition) 8s 3d, 8s 9d to' 9s. poorer sorts, 4s 6d to "6s 7d; 4 and 6-tooth ewes (noor condition), 6s 3d to 8s lOd; 2-tooth ewes, 10s, 10s 2d, lis 9d. 12s 7d to 13s Id; 2 and 4-tooth wethers, lis to lis lOd; shorn .lambs, (poor), 4s Gd to hs lOd; 2 shear Romney rams. 2gns to 3-shear Southdowiis, 2 gns. Dairy Cows in calf, to £o 6s Od; 3 and 4-vear old steers, to 'tfi 10s.
