A SEARCH FOR SEARCHERS.

BRISBANE. March 22,
A steamer has been despatched to pick up the search parties sent out to look for Mr Staniforth Smith and his expedition and which are still unaware of the missing,party's return. After the disaster Mr Smith was bootless and suffered terribly from ulcerated feet until he constructed boots out of fibre.
Speaking at a luncheon, Mr Smith declared that the equipment of this expedition wa^. l ample *.l>ut for the misLips in the river. If the coal discoveries were found to be reachable it would be bv way of the Strickland River.
