• The barometer has fallen steadily in the southern districts, and slowly in the north. Moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds have prevailed, a'ndi gales at times in parts of the South Island. The wea,thex has. been Very warm and hazy, cloudy an 3 Unsettled at times, and rain .has. fallen on the West Coast of the South Island:.'';''.' ; r . ■'■'■■/■ Present indications are tor a falling barometer everywhere; Northerly and westerly winds, strong to gale, are probable, generally! Warm and humid conditions, increasing cloudiness, preceding rain and stormy weather, in most parts of the Dominion.
