Tll&*<iharige>of programme at the Foresters'; Hall last evening, drew.a crowded house.-■• Th- bill-of-fare contained many strong and emotional dramas, foremost amongst them being '.'The House of Seven Gables," dramatised from Hawthorne's great work of the same name. The sto./ covers succeeding 'generations for two hundred years, and shows the effect which actions of the earlier representatives have on their children and grandchildren's fortunes. The acting is perfect throughout, whilst the scenery is from designs of the original house in Salem City. "A (Romance in the Rockies" is a 'finely pictured episode of Western life, vividly portraying the devotion of Red Fox, an Indian, for his defender, a cowboy named Dicky Sterling, who /has been robbed by Mexicans, and who are at last brought to justice. "Henry VIII." is a beautiful old-time, drama of «, most gorgeous description. For an attractive and beautifully-executed river picture the film illustrating the River Moscow and its shores wquul he "difficult to surpass, while an exquisitely - coloured floral study "Flowers," met with warm applause. A splendid series of views of the fight between the London police and soldiers .and the Houndsditch murderers was also' shown. t A number of other capital pictures go to make a splendid programme, which will be repeated to-night.
