BRITAIN'S POSSIBLE DANGER.
ADMIRAL HENDERSON'S REPORT. (Received March 20, 9 a.m.) LONDON, March 19. The Sunday Times says that Australia's fear of Japan is more reasonable than Britain's fear of Germany, yet Britain, in her egotism and fear, has concentrated her snips in the North Sea. Sir E. Grey (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs) and. Mr McKenna (First. Lord of the Admiralty) are wholly absorbed in Britain's possible danger. If Japan forced her policy on Australia, and the United States forced hers upon Canada, the margin of naval superiority would be so fine that Britain would be unable to interfere.
"Admiral Henderson's report shows,!'-states the paper, "that/Australia's preparation for defence is-to be made rather leisurely, but the progress of events is, likely to quicken the pace."
