TEMPERANCE WALL SHEETS.
In the course of his address in Masterton on Sunday evening, Mr H. D. Bedford made it appear that the temperate? wall p.heo'ts 'liicli .;. he exhibited had been placed in the public 'Schools by the -nut-horny of the. Government, and that instruction from those sheets was to form part of the school curri'-ulum. Mr Bedford has been misinformed on the subject. The sheets were certainly provided by the Government free of cost. They have, however, been placed in,the,, schools at the discretion of the; -Editcatioii Boards. ■ The <,. Wellin gtbn Board ; accepted them, but-gave ho instructions 1 to ■ teachers as to how they "should be. [ -Utilised.
