Mr Ewart, a noted Ottawa lawyer, has attacked the Governor's activity on behalf of an Overseas Club. He ;describes_Earl Grey as a perfervid Imperialist, whose dearest wish is to unite Canada politically and for war purposes with the Motherland. He adds: "The imperialist, is the chief obstacle in the way of the Canadian Nationalist."
