WELLINGTON, Last Night
The Meteorological Office this evening ;issued the following summary and forecast:—
■Warm and hazy weather has been reported everywhere to-day, and fogs on the East Coast of the South Island. Rain fell on Thursday night on the West Coast and in scattered places. The barometer is now falling slowly everywhere, and moderate to strong northerly winds prevail.
Present indications are for warm and more humid . conditions, and haze and increasing cloutiiness, especially in. southern districts. Moderate to stroUg northerly; winds will probably, prevail and increase in and southward of Cook Straits. The barometer will probably fall slowly in the-north and low. in ; southern districts.;
