Considerable rain has fallen in the southernmost districts, especially during Wednesday night. Cloudy and hazy weather has prevailed, and the winds have been variable. The be lOmeter rose everywhere 'during the night and remained steady to-day. Present indications are for changeable weather generally, fair weather predominating in most parts for about 24 hours. Moderate to strong easterly and northerly winds will probably prevail. The barometric pressure is now high and very unsteady, and a fall is due shortly.
