Madsen, Ores-swell, Hoar, Temple, Russell, Miller, Shackleton, and yile. iAn interesting cricket match took place at Brancepeth on Saturday last between, teams from Te Parae and Brancepeth stations, eleven men from each station* < competing. The match resulted in a win for Te Parae by nine runs. Brancepeth team' scored; 104 and Te Parae 113. The principal bowlers were Moxiey (Te Parae), and Cooke, Leach and Grubb (Brancepeth)., "-'■ Mr- Guy Williams, of Te Parae, has generously donated •" the whole .equipment--.for. 'a-, cricket club at Te Parae. This l is done as an incentive to bring the station hands of the district into closer touch with each other." The thanks of all men of the district, from Brancepeth to the Taueru, are due to Mr Williams for his generous gift.
