The . sale : opened-iduil, . vendors not quite realising the general state of the market, but as the sale proceeded matters improved, and Owners meeting purchasers by reducing reserves, good business resulted, and with two exceptions <a total clearance was effected.* The follow wing are the prices realised: — Good sound breeding ewes, 9s to 10s; medium class, 7s 6di to 8s; .poorer sorts, 5s to 6s 6d ; ; 2-tootli ewes, lis.
