MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSION.
PALMERSTON N., Last Night
Horace Arthur Mannering, aged six, was injured by an explosion in Church Street, near to the Square yesterday. The tips of three of his fingers were blown off, and he was also wounded in (the thigh. It is supposed that the accident was caused by a dynamite cartridge. His''sister, aged seven, was with him at the time, and said he. was hitting a nail against a piece of tin with a stone.
