Sir, — I notice a local in your issue of the, 14th,- in. which it .is . stated that a iprosentatioii is to be made to Bishop Wallis. A few days ago a cable nvas published in your coltiron3 announcing that in some of the strike quarters of "Merric England" igirls and women fainted in the streets through weakness caused by .hunger. I think that the good Bishop (being one' of the Lord's 'servants) , would appreciate the money more if it were passed on/ to help ,such unfortunates as those mentioned in that cable. Of what us© are riches to.ths comparatively rich Y I know of a. case where a child is suffering from consumption and has, been forbidden by the doctor to associate with other children. Could we not'show our appreciation of the Bishop by subscribing towards a consumptive' hospital or some such in-' stitution ;in ordet that these little sufferers may have some of the com-, forts which God in His mercy has created for mankind?—l am,'etc., I AN AGITATOR.
