MILITARY CADETSHIPS.

Last Night. Of the twelve candidates wh6 presented themselves for examination for cadetships at the Australian Military College, following are successful Candidates:— W. I. KJ' Males (Canterbury), R. G. Jervis (Otago), C. Carrington (Canterbury),, W. N* M. Weir (Wellington), D. R.' Car-' penter- ((Auckland), E. Oliver (Canterbury). These have still to ,pass a final medical examination, and to be approved by ithe General Officef commanding 'the New Zealand Defence Forces. , The remaining five; who presented did hot attain . the necessary qualifying standard.
