The bride, who Was given away by her father, f was a£iired in> & dress of cream , escalade. - She also wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms,, and carried a handsome shower bouquet. The -bridesmaids were Misses Kate Waldin (sister of the bride), and Grace Gordon (sister of. the bridegroom), ■ who wore white muslin dresses • and carried shower bouquets. Mr H. Gordon acted as best man,,, and -Mr J. Bright as groomsman. The bridegroom is present to the 'bride was a gold watch and chain,, and to each of the a pearl neck pendant and chain.'
After the ceremony, the company * repaired to Cripps' Commercial Bouse, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was partaken of, and the usual toasts honoured.
The happy couple left by the North' train, en route for N&pisp, where the honeymoon is to be spent! The presents received were numerous and costly.
