RIFLE SHOOTING.

ALFREDTON CLUB

The Alfred-ton Rifle Club held the fifth of a series of shoots on Saturday last for the Holmes Warren Challenge and the Kebbell Handicap Cups. The -scores also count for Rifleman Dagg'fi Shield. Mr P. Wilton, with 96 points, won Mr F. Percy's trophy for the highest score for tlio day. Rifleman AVilton has now a lead of 15 points for the Club Championship. Following are the results.

MAURIOEVILLE CLUB

The Maurieeville Rifle Club fired ,the fiftli competition of the. season on Saturday last. The competition was for the Clip and R. Cameron'iS cash prize.' The shoot also counts for F. Emiimer's gold medal for besM; aggregate off rifle. Owing to some of the members having just returned from Trentham, the shooting was slightly above the ■average. Results:—•

The -next trophy competition, will be held on 25th March, weather permitting^
